British police say that an off-duty soldier killed in a suspected Islamic extremist attack in London died from multiple cuts and stab wounds.
Lee Rigby, 25, was killed last week near his barracks in southeast London's Woolwich area. Images and videos captured by passersby show two men wielding knives and meat cleavers.
Scotland Yard confirmed Wednesday that Rigby was walking near the barracks when he was first struck by a blue Vauxhall Tigra, then was attacked by two men.
Police say an autopsy showed that Rigby died from "multiple incised wounds."
