Baghdad (CNN) -- At least four people were killed and 25 others were wounded Tuesday when a car bomb exploded near a Shiite district in Baghdad, police told CNN.
The location was a busy intersection at the edge of Sadr City in eastern Baghdad.
There's been an increase in political and sectarian violence in Iraq, including its capital, Baghdad, over the past several weeks. Dozens of people were killed and wounded in a wave of bombings in Baghdad and other cities on Monday.
