Brooks, with her hair scraped back and wearing a buttoned-up black top and black trousers, denies conspiring to hack the phones of politicians, public figures, and celebrities between October 3, 2000, and August 9, 2006.
Charlie Brooks, The horse trainer, 50, denied the conspiracy charge along with Brooks' former PA, Cheryl Carter, 49, News International security guards Lee Sandell, 26, and Mark Hanna, 50, chauffeur Paul Edwards, 48, and bodyguard David Johnson.
Brooks spoke in a firm voice to confirm her identity and enter not guilty pleas to the charges in front of a packed courtroom.
All defendants were freed on bail until their trial, expected to be later this year.
Brooks, of Churchill, Chipping Norton, denies one count of intercepting communications, two counts of perverting the course of justice, and two counts of conspiring to commit misconduct in a public office.
Weatherup, of Great Warley, Brentwood, Essex, and Kuttner, of Woodford Green, Essex, each denied one count of conspiracy to intercept communications.
Sandell, of Caterham, Surrey, Paul Edwards, of Bethnal Green, east London, Carter, of Chelmsford, Essex, Hanna, of Buckingham, Bucks, and Charles Brooks, of Chipping Norton, all deny conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
